Our desire is to really feed our clientele, so every dish you see on our menu is home made – nothing pre packed – just good, honest food. We have taken time to source the best ingredients from the area, so that our food is truly unique in reflecting the flavours of the countryside the hotel nestles in.

The Borders Region has a worldwide reputation for its hill and pasture grazed beef, lamb and game. Our local waters still produce some of the finest haddock, so when you order our famous fish and chips, you can still taste the freshness of the sea.

We use our own secret recipe for the fresh baked wheaten bread you’ll find on your table and if you like ice cream, you’ll love our selection of award winning, home made ice creams from Cauldwells of Innerleithen.

Our desserts may look heavenly – but you can be assured that they taste divine! Our pastry chefs are expert at blending rich, fresh ingredients into mouth watering creations that you just have to leave room for.

Seasonal vegetables grace our tasty and innovative Vegetarian meals that come in a choice of Celiac or Vegan.

Children’s portions of any main dish can be purchased, but they might like to choose from the special children’s menu.

The Restaurant has an extensive wine list from Chardonnay to Champagne and priced to suit all pockets and occasions.
